14 Sep Instructions on How to Properly Floss Your Child’s Smile
If you are looking for instructions on how to properly floss your child’s smile, then you have come to the right place! Dr. Desiree T. Palmer, DMD and our team are happy to share some insight on how to keep your child’s smile in tip-top shape.
We understand that flossing can be a difficult task, but with our help, you will be able to floss your child’s smile once a day without any problems. So, when you floss your child’s smile, we recommend following these instructions:
–Step 1: Take a short length of floss and wrap a majority of it around your index finger and your thumb, leaving a short amount of floss between both fingers. Then, gently push the floss between each tooth to clean the crevice.
–Step 2: When the floss is between two teeth, curve it into a “C” shape and slide it up and down the sides of each tooth. Make sure you floss under the gumline as well.
–Step 3: Please use a new section of floss as you move from tooth to tooth.
